As the situation around COVID-19 continues to develop, working from home has become the new reality. A change of working environment can lead to increased productivity for some, but on the other hand, can lead to a dip in productivity for others due to the presence of multiple distractions at home. Creating a distraction To-Do list can help you focus on tasks and increase your productivity without taking a toll on you.

How to do it

  1. Simply make a note of everything that causes you to lose focus on the task at hand. It could be on a piece of paper or even on your phone.
  2. Examples of distractions include: "What's on my Facebook news feed?", "How many likes did I get on my Instagram post?", "What do I cook for lunch tomorrow?", "Let me message a friend to hangout", etc.
  3. Even a tiny distraction, might cost you a lot of time to get back on track. Noting down distractions can help you focus on your work and lets you to get back to the list when you're done with your task.
